Privacy Policy

AdCider produces one-off, pay-per-report analysis of the Apple Ads campaigns you choose. This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and what we do with it. If anything here is unclear, email us at hi@adcider.com.

Who we are

AdCider is operated by Nixes, a company registered in Bulgaria (the “we”, “us”, or “AdCider” in this policy). Nixes is the data controller responsible for your personal data. You can reach us at hi@adcider.com.

Information we collect

We collect only what we need to sign you in, analyse the campaigns you select, and deliver your report.

  • Account information. Your email address. We use it to sign you in with a one-time link, to deliver your report, and to send receipts. AdCider is passwordless — we never ask for or store a password.
  • Apple Ads connection. When you connect an Apple Ads account, we receive an authorisation token that lets us read your advertising data. The connection is read-only — AdCider can never create, modify, pause, or change the budget of your campaigns. We read the performance data (such as campaigns, ad groups, keywords, spend, and installs) for the campaigns you select, over a limited recent time window. Authorisation tokens are encrypted at rest.
  • App Store information. To add competitor context to your report, we retrieve publicly available App Store listing and review data for the apps you or our suggestions identify as competitors. This is public information, not your personal data.
  • Payment information. Payments are handled entirely by our payment provider, Paddle. We never see or store your full payment-card details. See Payments below.
  • Communications. Emails you send us, and our records of the transactional emails we have sent you.
  • Site usage. Basic analytics about how visitors use our website — such as pages viewed, approximate location, and device or browser type — collected using cookies and similar technologies.

How we use your information

  • To sign you in and keep your account secure.
  • To read the campaign data you select and generate your report.
  • To retrieve competitor context from the public App Store.
  • To take payment and to provide receipts and refunds.
  • To email you your report and, only if you opt in, a single optional follow-up.
  • To operate, secure, debug, and improve the service.

We do not sell your data. We do not use your advertising data to train AI models. We do not share your campaign data with third parties beyond the limited providers needed to run the service.

Automated analysis

Your report is produced by automated systems that analyse the campaign data you select together with public App Store information. The report is advisory — you decide what, if anything, to act on. We do not make legal or similarly significant decisions about you automatically, and your data is not used to train any models.

Payments

Payments are processed by Paddle, which acts as the Merchant of Record for your purchase. When you pay, you interact with Paddle’s secure checkout; AdCider never receives your full payment-card details. Paddle processes your payment and shares with us limited transaction information — such as your email, the order, and the country needed for tax — so that we can deliver your report and provide support. Paddle’s handling of your payment data is governed by Paddle’s privacy policy.

Sharing and disclosure

We share data only in these limited cases:

  • With Paddle, to take payment and process refunds.
  • With a small number of service providers who process data on our behalf to run the service — for example cloud hosting and email delivery — under confidentiality obligations.
  • With Apple, when you authorise the Apple Ads connection and when we fetch public App Store data.
  • Where required by law, or to protect our rights, users, or the security of the service.

We never sell your data and never share your advertising data for advertising or model-training purposes.

How long we keep your data

Before you pay, your selections and connection are held only for a short working session and are discarded if you do not complete a purchase. After you purchase a report, that report and the data needed to display it are stored in your account so you can return to it. You can ask us to delete your account and associated data at any time by emailing hi@adcider.com. We retain limited records, such as transaction and email logs, for as long as needed for legal, tax, and accounting purposes.

Your Apple Ads connection

You can disconnect an Apple Ads account at any time from your account settings, which removes the authorisation token we hold. Because our access is read-only, disconnecting never affects your campaigns. You can also revoke access from your Apple account.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, export, or restrict the use of your personal data, and to object to certain processing. To exercise any of these, email hi@adcider.com and we will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law. As we are established in the EU, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

Cookies

We use a small number of cookies: essential cookies that keep you signed in, and analytics cookies that help us understand how the site is used. You can control or clear cookies through your browser settings.

Security

We protect your data with appropriate technical and organisational measures, including encryption of Apple Ads authorisation tokens at rest and read-only access scopes. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to keep your data safe.

International transfers

We and our service providers may process data in countries other than your own. Where we do, we rely on appropriate safeguards for that transfer.

Children

The service is intended for businesses and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the “last updated” date above and, for material changes, take reasonable steps to let you know.
